Parallel Employment Group is currently seeking Entry Level Sandblasters to join our team. As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or coating by using abrasive materials to remove dirt, rust, and other contaminants. 1st shift Mon - Thurs 7am - 5:30pm

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment and tools

• Prepare surfaces by removing dirt, rust, and other contaminants using abrasive materials

• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper cleaning

• Assist with painting or coating application when necessary

• Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements

No prior experience required; will train the right candidate

• Ability to operate sandblasting equipment and tools

• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Willingness to learn and grow in the industrial field
