A&E Incorporated is searching for an experienced CNC Set-Up Operator. Successful candidates are primarily responsible for editing programs and setting up our CNC Mills (Mazak), along with some work on CNC lathes or Swiss CNC lathes. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of CNC Set-Up experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC mills

• Set up, select and change tooling according to work order packets

• Care and basic maintenance of machines and tooling

• Inspect/measure parts using calipers, veneers, micrometers & gauges; read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• Responsible for quality of the parts produced

KEY REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with CNC Mills

• Experience working with Mazak machines is preferred; other experience with Haas, Mori Seiki, Tsugami, Miyano or Swiss machines is helpful.

• Knowledge of machining processes, tolerances and tooling

• Ability to read/write English to understand work orders, routings, blueprints and drawings

• Skilled in basic shop math

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNC training preferred

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Inspect/measure parts using calipers, veneers, micrometers & gauges; read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations (i.e. lockout/tagout, machine guarding)

• Must be able read and write clearly and concisely in English and understand/follow written work instructions and company procedures.

• Ability to use company communication tools, including email and Microsoft Word/Excel.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be capable of lifting/moving up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift and standing/walking/bending/squatting regularly throughout the workday.

2nd Shift (2:30pm-12:30am)

Pay: $22-$30 - Based on experience
