POSITION: Grinder 1st or 2nd shift

LOCATION: Arcade NY

JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary responsibility of a Grinder is to perform precision smoothing, polishing, or grinding of various materials. This includes operating grinding machines, inspecting and adjusting finished products, and ensuring that the work area remains clean and organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate grinding machines to grind surfaces or parts to specified dimensions and smoothness.

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adjust as necessary.

• Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when required.

Hours:

1st shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00am - 1:30pm , and Friday 4:00am to 12:30pm

2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 1:30pm - 1:00am

Rate of Pay ranges from $18.00- $21.78 per hour (depending upon experience)
