Job Title: Industrial/Machine Cleaner

Pay Rate $17.00hr..

Job Summary: The Industrial Machine Cleaner will perform janitorial duties in an industrial setting with a focus on cleaning and maintaining industrial equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Cleans and maintains factory and industrial equipment.

•Ensure equipment is free of grease, oil, residue, and other materials.

•Cleans floor around machinery and elsewhere in the facility as assigned.

•Clean staff bathrooms, break areas, offices, and meeting rooms daily.

•Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe. Tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles, collecting dirty rags, sweeping, operating industrial floor scrubbers/sweepers, operating bailor, clean exterior of building etc.

•Operating as part of our maintenance team this individual may also be asked to perform entry level daily/weekly/monthly preventative measures such as filling oilers, inspecting for grease, oil, and air leaks.

•Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

•Excellent organizational and time management skills.

•Ability to work independently.

•Ability to use hand tools such as brooms, mops, brushes.

•Ability to use power cleaning tools such as power scrubbers, floor chariots, power washers.

•Ability to operate a forklift. (will train internally)

•Ability to read and follow instructions on cleaning chemicals and agents.

Physical Requirements:

•Ability to work 10+ hours in a day.

•Ability to stoop, bend, crawl as necessary.

•Ability to lift 30 pounds.
