Job Description
Parallel Employment is seeking qualified Machine Operators for a manufacturing company located in Oconomowoc, WI. Long-term opportunities are available on 3rd shift. This is a great opportunity to enhance your skill set and learn new mechanical skills!
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Shift Availability: 3rd shift, 10pm - 6am *OT is offered before your shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the metal to put on the line to run and ensure it is the right customer width and gauge.
- Make stitches and follow it through the line to make sure the chemical applications are opened and then re-closed at the time the stitch passes through the equipment.
- Watch and visually inspect coils to make sure there are no defects in the paint or metal (trash in paint, dents, scratches, etc.)
- Ensure that coils are stacked properly.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attendance and punctuality a must!
- Must work well in small groups
- Have a positive attitude
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must have reliable transportation
