SUMMARY:
Uses physical analysis and scanning equipment to confirm accuracy of pallet tags versus pallet loads and authorize them for delivery into the inventory control system. Using powered or hand operated lift equipment, stacks, tiers or moves product, equipment or materials.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Order picking and material handling
• Compares pallet tag to pallet load and configuration to ensure accuracy.
• Scans bar code on the pallet label to enter information into the scanner and manually enters quantity information into the scanner; downloads information contained in scanners into the IRIS inventory system hourly.
• Using powered or hand operated lift equipment, stores finished goods or parts in designated locations and scans location.
• Performs physical inventory counts as required.
• Performs vehicle inspections according to company standards.
• Performs housekeeping daily.
• Performs duties in a manner that supports accurate inventory records.
• Unloads incoming factory transfers as necessary
• Audits shipping/receiving quantities to ensure accuracy
• Pick, build, label, and wrap customer orders to customer/vendor requirements
• Able to routinely get on and off a forklift while lifting up to 50 pounds during an 8 hour shift
• Work in a fast paced environment, keeping up with production and shipping demands
• Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders using multiple tools to ensure effective visual communication
• Perform similar level or nature of duties as assigned
