Parallel Employment Group is proud to partner with a local food manufacturer seeking 1st shift Packaging Associates!

We are currently seeking candidates for our 1st shift packaging department.

(7:30am start time)

Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a huge plus, but not required.

In this role you will be working with a team on our packaging lines to perform tasks including, but not limited to;

Packaging of dessert products

Hand dipping desserts into chocolate, frosting coatings ect.

Removal of freezer items from baking dishes

Packaging of goods for shipment

Basic box construction for goods

Hourly Rate of Pay : $15.40 per hour

Accessible by local bus route!

*Transportation required on Saturdays

Must complete CAS in office orientation,No Jewelry, No Make-up, False Eyelashes, False fingernails or polish.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Operate line machinery and troubleshoot line machinery.

2.Perform equipment change-overs.

3.Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

4.Clean and maintain work area.

5.Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.

6.Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1.Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

2.Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

3.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
