Job Description
In partnership with Legacy Bake House, Parallel Employment Group is hiring Packaging Machine Operators.
Compensation: $17.00 hourly
Shift availability: 2nd
Job responsibilities:
Package all bagged or cartoned products in the chips area per customer/internal specs.
Set up/run the bagging machines and cartoner per customer or internal specs.
Help maintain the equipment by doing a general inspection of equipment, perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and report any repair needs to your supervisor.
Conduct testing according to customer / internal specs.
Record all data needed on the required intervals.
Record Lot numbers for traceability purposes.
Clean equipment as needed following the cleaning matrix.
Verify equipment is clean through swab testing and QA inspections.
Alert the supervisor if you find any mechanical issue or unsafe condition.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand / walk on your feet for up to 8 hours or more
- Ability to read / write English effectively
- Ability to perform mathematics addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages
- Ability to work in warm environments
