Parallel Employment is currently seeking a Warehouse Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic Lancaster client. This position will provide administrative support to the warehouse operations and assist with various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse administrative duties.
Searching for well-organized, energetic and self motivated individuals that can help take the Warehouse office to the next level. Many of the responsibilities of this position center around wholesale order entry, invoicing, filing and fielding calls from dealer network around the country.
Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime would be available and possibly expected in the Spring and Summer months.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
This person would be a support person to the Warehouse Office Supervisor and the Warehouse Manger. Extensive computer work in our new operating system (Epicor). Someone with Epicor experience will be heavily considered. Knowledge of Excel and Word is also a huge plus. This position would include a ton of order entry, order processing, and all around general computer work.
This position would start out as seasonal, but could become mostly year round for the right candidate. Filing would also be required, as well as the ability to answer the phones. The warehouse office is on the second floor, so the ability to climb and descend stairs is also necessary.
The role will also include maintaining relationships with both vendors and dealers alike and updating relevant spreadsheets and documents. The ideal candidate should have excellent administrative and communication skills. We work in a collaborative busy environment where we sell fun. We are looking for excellent team players to further compliment our existing team.
Admin Personnel Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the office manager
Placing and tracking orders
Processing paperwork
Invoicing
Tackling incoming calls and maintaining dealer relationships
Assisting with analyses and reporting
Office Personnel Requirements:
Previous office experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel. Working knowledge of Epicor operating software is a plus.
