Job summary: Weld metal components from machined parts or steel stock for dock boards and service parts with electric welding equipment - as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order. Will use Miller welding machine.

Shift availability: 1st shift
Job responsibilities:
Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor; or clamp parts together along layout marks.
Obtain specified electrode and insert into portable holder or thread consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun.
Connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage slope and pulse, as specified.
Start power supply to produce electric current.
